Fire safety week,14-20 April 2015 at NRCM, Hyderabad

A demonstration on fire safety and protection was conducted at NRC on Meat, Hyderabad by Station Fire Officer and his team on 17.4.2015. Mr. Chandra Sekhar Babu, Station Fire Officer, Uppal gave lecture on importance of fire safety precautions and how to deal with fire accidents. Some videos were also shown on fire safety. A live demonstration on use of different types of fire extinguishers, water cannons and fire accidents was given. All the staff of NRCM interacted with the fire officer and participated in demo. Dr.V V Kulkarni Director thanked the Station Fire officer.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

On 22-11-2014 in order to create awareness of SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN in the local area, i.e. Chengicherla village, an approach road coming from village to the Institute has been cleared off dense bushes on either sides of the road and road was also swept by all the staff members. This activity has enthused and influenced many villagers, passer-by and some of them volunteered to join the programme.

As a part of the ABHIYAN an initiative was taken to “Green” the campus. Some of the Ashoka, coconut, ornamental and medicinal plants were planted in the campus.
